Technical Recruiter

Overview

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Technical Recruiter to support the hiring needs of our diverse engineering and technical teams. This role involves working closely with business leaders and hiring managers to identify and attract talented professionals who will contribute to creating innovative products, automating production lines, developing software and AI solutions, and enhancing manufacturing systems. The recruiting environment at Tesla is dynamic and fast-moving, with accelerated timelines, making the work both impactful and rewarding. This position supports various disciplines including software, hardware, AI, manufacturing engineering, facilities, infrastructure, and materials. The job is located in Sparks, NV with possible presence in Palo Alto and Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to evaluate talent needs and devise effective recruitment strategies and plans.
• Establish and maintain strong pipelines of qualified technical candidates through innovative and multi-channel sourcing methods.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, conducting behavioral interviews, coordinating schedules, and assisting with offer management.
• Efficiently prioritize time and resources while handling multiple open requisitions and maintaining timely communication with stakeholders.
• Foster productive relationships with internal recruiters, sourcing specialists, business leaders, and hiring managers throughout the organization.
• Maintain expert knowledge of recruitment tools, procedures, and workflows in an evolving environment.
• Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting or talent sourcing within a corporate or agency setting.
• Experience recruiting for engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, facilities, or similar technical roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent technical openings in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and evaluating technical talent, including passive candidates in competitive markets.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder partnership abilities.
• Capacity to work with urgency, manage ambiguity, balance speed with quality, and meet challenging deadlines.
