About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous Technical Engineer to join our technical office team to support expansive Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with the preparation of technical submittals, management of shop drawings, analysis of geotechnical and survey data, calculation of excavation and fill volumes, and ensuring all engineering documentation complies with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze design drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities to develop detailed shop drawings and compile technical submittals.
- Calculate earthwork volumes including cut and fill, develop cross-sections, and grading plans utilizing civil engineering software tools.
- Collaborate closely with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to address technical inquiries and resolve any design inconsistencies.
- Develop method statements, material submissions, and reports ensuring technical compliance related to earthworks and infrastructure utilities.
- Organize and maintain all technical documentation including drawings, approvals, and submittal logs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying Engineering.
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Additional certifications such as PMP or BIM are advantageous.
- Bring a minimum of three to five years’ experience in technical office engineering focusing on major civil infrastructure, mass earthworks, and land development projects.
- Demonstrate solid expertise in soil mechanics, earthwork quantity estimation, and site technical coordination.
