About the company

Revent is an early-stage venture firm that supports exceptional founders across Europe who are building businesses with long-term impact. The firm backs people aiming to create lasting value for society rather than simply scale for scale’s sake. It has already invested in companies such as Avelios Medical, where Sequoia later led the Series A, and Tem Energy, later Series B-backed by Lightspeed, along with several additional unannounced financings involving Tier 1 funds. Revent is currently investing from a newly raised €111M fund and plans to back 38 very early-stage companies working on AI and frontier technology to help shape a better future.

Role overview

Revent is looking for a full-time Team & Operations Associate in Berlin to serve as the operational centre of gravity for the team. The role is focused on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly across team support, office coordination, events, logistics, and other areas where strong execution improves the experience of internal and external stakeholders.

Because the team is intentionally small, this is a high-impact position with real ownership. Rather than simply administering tasks, you will help the team work efficiently, support a polished office environment, and continuously improve how the firm operates.

What you'll do

  • Keep the team organised by managing calendars, arranging travel, setting up meetings and appointments, and ensuring communications stay on track.
  • Support preparatory accounting and expense handling by collecting and organising invoices, receipts, and supporting documents, preparing payment runs, and keeping expense records accurate and orderly.
  • Oversee subscriptions, software tools, and service contracts, including renewals, tool evaluation, pricing discussions where needed, and user access management.
  • Take ownership of the office environment by managing meeting rooms, mail, deliveries, stock levels, tidiness, vendor coordination, and interactions with building management and service providers.
  • Plan and deliver events and offsites such as lunches, dinners, founder summits, strategy offsites, and gatherings with founders or LPs, including venue sourcing, invitations, event communications, travel coordination, logistics, budget tracking, attendee management, and post-event follow-up.
  • Identify operational problems early and improve internal systems, infrastructure, and everyday workflows before issues become visible to others.

Why this role matters

You will work closely with the team, gain exposure across the entire firm, and contribute directly to shaping the culture and operational standards of Revent.

Requirements

No specific degree is required. Revent values mindset, execution quality, and the ability to create excellent experiences for high-end stakeholders such as founders and investors. Experience in an operations-focused role within a fast-moving environment will be helpful, and background in startups, investment firms, or professional services is considered a plus.

  • Strong bias toward action and ownership; able to anticipate needs and create structure without being asked.
  • Excellent organisational ability with the reliability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and systems effectively.
  • Professional warmth, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Resourceful and comfortable solving unclear or broken processes without getting stuck.
  • High attention to detail across logistics, records, bookings, and presentation.
  • Comfort with modern digital tools and a positive attitude toward using AI to improve workflows.
  • Motivation to contribute to a mission-driven firm that backs companies solving meaningful problems for humanity.

Practical details

  • This is a full-time position based in Berlin.
  • The ideal background includes 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience; internship experience is also counted.
  • Strong written and spoken English is required.
  • No visa sponsorship is available, so candidates must already have the right to work full-time in Germany.
  • Annual compensation is €40,000 to €60,000 depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus.
