Team Manager

About the Role

As a Team Manager within Woolworths Group's Proactive Services, you will be instrumental in maintaining clean, orderly, and fully stocked stores to enhance shopping and working environments. Working hands-on alongside your team, you will ensure the availability of trolleys and uphold store hygiene standards to create a welcoming space for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management across multiple stores.
• Develop and manage detailed rosters to guarantee comprehensive coverage of daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with Store Leadership to identify challenges, prioritize tasks, and seize improvement opportunities.
• Manage attendance and timekeeping functions, including absence management, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Oversee the ordering and budgeting of all consumables such as cleaning products to maintain operational efficiency.
• Contribute directly by partaking in core operational activities alongside your team, providing hands-on assistance in cleaning, waste handling, and trolley collection.

Candidate Profile

• An enthusiastic individual passionate about retail and people development, eager to grow within a dynamic role.
• Adaptable to working environments ranging from shop floors to refrigerated areas and outdoor car parks.
• Possesses keen attention to cleanliness standards and detail orientation.
• Physically fit to undertake demanding tasks inherent to the role.
• Capable of coordinating schedules and tasks with multiple department managers and store leadership.
• Organized in ensuring the team is equipped with adequate tools and supplies for safe and effective work.
• Comfortable operating within established regulatory frameworks including food safety, industrial regulations, and codes of conduct.
• Holds a valid full Australian driver's license (Green P's or full) necessary for vehicle operation in trolley collection.
