About the Role
Insight Global has partnered with a leading insurance firm in Des Moines, Iowa to recruit a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This pivotal role supports an efficient talent acquisition team by managing critical administrative functions related to recruitment and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison for onboarding new employees.
- Oversee the I-9 verification process, including initiation, documentation collection, and submission.
- Track and ensure completion of all onboarding documents.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews through Workday and Outlook.
- Assist leadership with Workday system-related tasks.
- Organize calendar invitations using Microsoft Bookings and Outlook.
- Manage onboarding logistics such as equipment setup and meeting arrangements.
- Support onsite meetings by preparing necessary equipment.
- Facilitate transitions of interns to full-time employees.
- Participate in career fairs and recruitment events to aid sourcing efforts.
- Recruit and source candidates for specified job requisitions when required.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, and stakeholders to enhance candidate experience and onboarding efficiency.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related disciplines.
- Strong communication capabilities.
- Experience with Workday or applicant tracking systems is advantageous.
- Background in administrative roles.
- Familiarity with insurance industry procedures.
- Prior experience managing I-9 onboarding processes.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage ranges from $20 to $27, dependent on education, skills, and experience. Included from day one is a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage. Eligibility for enrollment in a 401(k) plan begins after 90 days. Paid sick leave and other statutory paid time off benefits are provided per local regulations.
