About the Role
Moreflex Borrachas Ltda is looking for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Texas, United States. This full-time onsite position involves supporting comprehensive supply chain functions including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine supply chain datasets to discern patterns, pinpoint risks, and uncover avenues for enhancement.
- Keep track of inventory status, demand projections, and supply scheduling efforts.
- Assist in procurement operations along with logistics and distribution workflows.
- Create and update reports, performance dashboards, and key supply chain metrics.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless processes.
- Detect issues causing supply chain delays and suggest ways to refine procedures.
- Contribute to demand planning and forecasting exercises.
- Assess supplier service quality and aid vendor management activities.
- Maintain data integrity throughout supply chain platforms and analytical tools.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
- 1 to 3 years professional experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or a related data-analytical role.
- High proficiency in analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience utilizing reporting and visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and operational frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, alongside organizational aptitude.
- Adept at handling multiple tasks effectively in dynamic work settings.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with demand planning, forecasting tools, and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of SQL or similar database querying languages.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Background in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chain environments considered advantageous.
