Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and active Retail Store Person to be a vital team player who ensures smooth daily store operations and supports both front and back-end activities. This position thrives on teamwork, energetic engagement, and a hands-on approach to maintaining store efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully loading weekly trucks and containers
• Assisting customers with order collections to ensure a smooth experience
• Helping the sales team by managing stock and moving products to the sales floor
• Accurately logging new inventory into our operational system
• Assembling furniture attentively and with pride
• Adhering to and promoting occupational health and safety standards
• Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe store and warehouse environment
• Working collaboratively within the team, using initiative and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in warehouse support or distribution roles
• Proficiency with computer applications including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong desire to help customers and achieve results
• Physical ability to handle furniture and related products safely
• Excellent communication abilities
• Dependable, proactive, and driven with a positive approach
• Capability to perform regular manual handling tasks such as lifting and moving items of various sizes safely

Additional Information

• Applicants must be Australian citizens, residents, or hold valid visas permitting work in Australia
• Work schedule includes varied hours on Tuesday (10am-5pm), Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
