Role Overview

The Store Manager position in Tralee offers a permanent, full-time opportunity to lead and inspire a dynamic team while driving sales performance and profitability. This role involves daily operational oversight, staff motivation, and ensuring high standards of customer experience and store presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Drive sales growth, manage costs effectively, and meet targeted gross margin goals.
  • Ensure exceptional in-store presentation, adhering to merchandising standards and maintaining a compelling shopping environment.
  • Organize stockroom operations, maintain adequate inventory levels, and ensure timely display of products on the shop floor.
  • Plan and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage within budgeted hours.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the entire store team accordingly.
  • Coach and develop team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain health and safety standards to provide a secure environment for both customers and staff.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven retail management experience is essential; background in Fashion, Jewellery or Giftware retail is considered a plus.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a documented history of meeting sales and profitability objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and well-developed organizational abilities.
  • Attentive to detail and proactive in resolving issues.
  • Experience managing stock, cash flow, administrative tasks, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
