Positions Available

Openings for Store Managers (SM) and Assistant Store Managers (ASM) across Kerala with a focused walk-in drive held at Thrikkakara More Supermarket on 20th August, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Role Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and managing store staff during shifts. Candidates with strong leadership capabilities and hands-on supermarket experience are preferred. Candidates with retail management experience from sectors like apparel, fashion, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), and lifestyle may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations smoothly during assigned shifts.
• Oversee floor operations, allocate staff appropriately, and uphold customer service standards.
• Monitor stock levels, control inventory shrinkage, and maintain accuracy.
• Supervise billing counters ensuring error-free transactions.
• Resolve escalated customer issues to maintain high satisfaction.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist Store Manager in meeting sales targets and business goals.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate store team members.
• Handle inventory planning, stocking, and non-saleable goods management.
• Uphold grooming, professional conduct, and cashiering standards.
• Manage fresh and vegetable sections efficiently.
• Maintain merchandising, visual display, and omni-channel integration (especially for Amazon Now/Fresh outlets).
• Perform basic reporting using Google Sheets, support audit readiness, and adhere to SOPs.
• Carry out independent shift operations management.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years managing store operations and staff supervision.
• Solid understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and customer engagement.
• Basic education background is acceptable.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), shrinkage control, and store discipline.

Recruitment Process

• Candidates will undergo an online test followed by a face-to-face interview.

Additional Information

• Work location is onsite at store premises in Kochi, Kerala.
• Salary range from 25,000 to 47,000 INR monthly.
