Position Overview
As a Stockperson / Cartpusher at Walmart Canada in Goderich, Ontario, you play a vital role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and welcoming shopping experience. Your main duties involve collecting shopping carts from multiple store areas and returning them using approved methods, supporting smooth retail operations through excellent safety practices and positive customer interactions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect carts from parking lots, corrals, and store perimeter and return them to designated locations while completing accurate logs.
- Assist customers promptly with carry-in and carry-out needs and verify receipts when required.
- Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including occasional restroom duties, while adhering to guidelines for chemical handling and equipment safety.
- Follow company safety protocols such as hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Wear required personal protective gear like steel toe shoes and reflective vests and conduct safety sweeps to promote a hazard-free workplace.
- Be flexible to work diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demands.

- Effectively manage overnight shifts maintaining energy to handle fast-paced, high volume tasks.
- Perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and repetitive activities like stocking and zoning with attention to detail.

Compensation and Location
The starting wage for this role begins at $17.75 per hour.
Primary work location: 35400 Huron Rd Rr2, Goderich, Ontario, N7A 3X8, Canada.
