Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves closely monitoring resident health, administering treatments, and collaborating with families and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly check and document vital signs such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and temperature for residents.
- Maintain precise and current clinical and medical records for all individuals under care.
- Administer medicines, injections, and specialized nursing procedures including catheterization, wound and bed sore care, tube feeding, oxygen therapy, and nebulization.
- Lead and instruct care attendants on effective patient care methods.
- Work collaboratively with residents' families and doctors by providing consistent health updates.
- Offer targeted emotional and medical assistance to elderly patients affected by chronic illnesses like Alzheimer's disease and Dementia.
Working Hours
The position requires availability from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
Eligibility and Skills
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in patient care, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, emergency handling, compassion, and effective communication.
