The role sits at the intersection of finance, business intelligence, and advanced data analysis. You will work closely with engineering, operations, product, and other teams to strengthen data quality, accessibility, and governance across the business. What you will do

Build and maintain data models that can support budgeting, forecasting, recurring reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Write, tune, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
Develop and keep up automated dashboards and executive reporting tools using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Work with Data Engineering, Sales Operations, Product, and other stakeholders to bring data sources together into a trustworthy finance data environment.
Help maintain data pipelines and ensure financial data is accurate, complete, consistent, and delivered on time.
Put data governance practices in place and sustain them so leadership reporting, investor communications, and regulatory reporting remain reliable.
Dig into complicated data problems, determine the underlying cause, and apply fixes that improve data quality and operational performance.
Support automation and process improvement efforts that make analytics more scalable and enable self-service reporting.
Explain technical and financial findings in a clear way for both technical teams and non-technical business users.
Take on additional analytical or operational tasks as needed to support business priorities.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analytics, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology setting.
Strong command of SQL, including query optimization, advanced functions, and large-scale data transformations.
Experience building and managing data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions.
Hands-on exposure to cloud data platforms and data warehouse tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Strong background in BI and visualization tools; Tableau is especially desirable.
Ability to support analytics engineering workflows from data ingestion through reporting and dashboard delivery.
Strong problem-solving ability and the independence to investigate issues and turn findings into actionable insights.
Experience improving workflows through automation and scalable analytics methods.
Clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Python or R experience for advanced analytics, statistics, or predictive modeling is an added advantage.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment with strong ownership and accountability.
