About the Role

We are looking for an expert and enthusiastic Specialty Coffee Barista to join a prestigious luxury lifestyle hotel in Doha, Qatar. This position suits someone who is passionate about specialty coffee, enjoys sharing their knowledge with guests, and aims to create memorable coffee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve exceptional coffee customized to each guest's preferences.
• Utilize thorough understanding of coffee origins, roasting techniques, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to educate and guide customers.
• Ensure outstanding quality, presentation, and consistency in all coffee offerings.
• Participate in the creation and development of coffee menus and seasonal beverage programs.
• Provide training and motivation to team members on specialty coffee expertise, skills, and service excellence.
• Keep up-to-date with current trends and innovations in the specialty coffee industry.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in roles such as Head Barista or Coffee Specialist within specialty coffee settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of brewing techniques, coffee sourcing, and sensory evaluation.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or premium café environments is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications in coffee are considered advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with guests.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
