Job Overview
Join SPX Express as a Sorter in Hub Operations on a one-year contract based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Hub Operations Lead, you'll play a vital role in managing parcel sorting operations efficiently within a high-volume sorting centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive parcels packaged in gunny bags or on pallets, verifying quantities against delivery orders.
- Operate and supervise the sorting machinery to ensure parcels are correctly inducted.
- Sort packages according to specified criteria such as size, destination, and priority levels.
- Perform scanning tasks as assigned to maintain tracking accuracy.
- Carry out additional duties as required by the Hub Operations Lead.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
- Physical stamina is necessary due to handling a large volume of parcels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
- Flexibility to work night shifts as per campaign and business needs.
- Motivated and eager learner capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends, with worksite located in the western region of Singapore.
