Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient Software Developer to design, build, and sustain scalable cloud-native enterprise applications and platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Java backend development, AWS cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and DevOps automation principles. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams to create modern digital solutions, automate infrastructure, and enhance software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain high-quality enterprise solutions using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
Build and support frontend components employing React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Implement cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services adhering to best practices.
Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation templates and AWS CDK.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, consistent deployments.
Deploy and administer containerized applications via Docker and cloud-native orchestrators.
Monitor and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Work collaboratively with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and operations teams to deliver quality solutions.
Enforce security, governance, and compliance standards within applications and cloud infrastructure.
Participate actively in technical design reviews, code audits, and champion engineering best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

Proficient in Java programming with solid knowledge of Spring Boot framework.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Front-end development skills with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, EC2, SQS, and RDS.
Familiarity with OpenShift container platforms.
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools: AWS CloudFormation (YAML) and AWS CDK (TypeScript).
Skilled in creating CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Strong background in Docker containerization and DevOps automation practices.
Experience with PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in developing and deploying enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
Experience with observability tools and practices for operational excellence.
Knowledge of event-driven and distributed system architectures.
Relevant AWS certifications like Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate are advantageous.
