Role Overview

We are looking for seasoned Software Engineers to join our energetic team. You will engage with a prominent financial services client to develop scalable, high-performance backend solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass designing, building, and maintaining backend services, while collaborating intensively with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams. This position suits professionals passionate about problem-solving, writing clear and maintainable code, and thriving in a cooperative, delivery-oriented setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and uphold resilient, secure Java applications.
• Utilize Spring and Spring Batch frameworks to develop efficient services.
• Guarantee performance, scalability, and reliability in distributed systems.
• Contribute to code reviews, mentor junior colleagues, and provide technical leadership.
• Support and improve continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Modernize legacy systems towards microservices architectures.
• Diagnose and resolve production problems, conducting root cause analyses.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and use JIRA effectively.
• Engage in analysis and testing processes to detect defects early.
• Collaborate with product teams to gain domain knowledge supporting development and QA.
• Work synergistically with architects, testers, and DevOps personnel to deliver quality solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive proficiency in Java (JDK 8+) with Spring Integration, Spring Kafka, and Spring Batch.
• Practical experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong microservices architecture background.
• Solid skills in SQL and Oracle database management.
• Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
• Competent with CI/CD and build tools like Jenkins, Gradle, and Maven.
• Knowledge of caching and source control tools such as Redis, Git, and GitLab.
• Understanding of software testing methods and quality assurance practices.

• Hands-on with Docker containerization.
• Exposure to performance or load testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
