Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily construction operations for projects in industrial, warehouse, logistics, and commercial sectors. The role demands ensuring all activities are carried out safely, on time, and following approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site tasks such as earthworks, foundation laying, concrete works, steel structure assembly, masonry, finishing, and exterior works.
• Conduct setting out operations and verify measurements including dimensions, levels, and alignment before execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite workforce to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Track productivity rates, manpower distribution, use of equipment, and material consumption on a daily basis.
• Ensure construction work complies fully with approved plans, specifications, and method statements.
• Compile daily site reports, updates on work progress, and keep all project documentation up-to-date.
• Arrange consultant inspections and manage Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) operations.
• Inspect incoming materials to confirm adherence to approved material submissions.
• Identify and resolve technical problems in coordination with the Project Engineer and Project Manager promptly.
• Support efforts related to Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) closure, snag rectification, and initiatives for quality enhancement.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, including conducting toolbox talks and promoting safe work methods.
• Collaborate with teams handling Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), structural steel, and finishing works to prevent task conflicts.
• Contribute to project handover processes, including punch list clearance and final documentation preparation.
