Role Overview

The Shift Leader acts as the vital element that enhances the team’s cohesion and service quality, much like cream cheese complements a bagel. Working closely with the General Manager, Shift Leaders motivate staff, set team morale, provide coaching, and manage store operations including opening and closing duties with minimal supervision. They ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness while fostering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to work various shifts including early mornings (as early as 3 AM) and weekends
• Successful completion of background check according to applicable laws
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training
• Preferred possession of a valid state driver's license, required only at certain locations along with meeting company driving standards
• Eligibility for tips varies by state regulations
