Service Planner - Hygiene

About the Role

Rentokil Initial is committed to protecting people and improving lives through expertise in pest control, hygiene, and plant services. Our Initial Hygiene team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated Service Planner to be based in either our Wellington or Palmerston North office. This critical role ensures smooth and efficient daily operations, supporting technicians to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage technicians' daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
• Enhance service route efficiency within Auckland to minimize travel time and boost productivity on site.
• Confirm appointments with customers and relay any schedule amendments promptly.
• Collaborate with sales teams and technicians to handle urgent service requests swiftly.
• Adjust schedules to fill gaps caused by cancellations, rebookings, availability changes, or weather impacts.
• Reschedule customer appointments when operations or weather conditions require it.
• Ensure on-time completion and scheduling of maintenance treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service documentation in company systems.
• Resolve service-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with technicians, customers, and internal teams.
• Provide routing and appointment confirmation support across other regions as needed.
