Senior Quality Engineer (EMS)

Role Overview

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality of products throughout the entire manufacturing process within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role involves ensuring robust inspection, testing, and quality control protocols are established and strictly adhered to. The engineer will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality Assurance teams to uphold product standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality across production by implementing and monitoring inspection, testing, and control mechanisms.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer QA to enforce quality standards.
• Lead and manage audit processes including Customer, Third-Party, and ISO 9001:2015 certification audits.
• Apply root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as required.
• Maintain clear and effective communication, coupled with strong analytical and presentation skills to report quality metrics and improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an EMS setting.
• Proficient in audit management and quality problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and presentation capabilities.
