Senior Molecular Biologist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Molecular Biologist to join our team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to advanced molecular biology and diagnostic research projects, focusing on aptamer development, antigen–antibody interaction analysis, and various nucleic acid techniques.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills

• Conduct molecular biology and diagnostics research with focus on aptamer studies and development.
• Perform antigen–antibody interaction assays to investigate binding and specificity.
• Expertly extract, purify, and analyze DNA and RNA from diverse biological samples.
• Handle clinical samples including serum and plasma following strict protocols.
• Execute PCR, RT-PCR, and quantitative PCR techniques for nucleic acid amplification and quantitation.
• Design, optimize, and develop ELISA assays to support diagnostic projects.
• Operate Luminex systems and perform multiplex assays for simultaneous biomarker detection.
• Manage and utilize microplate readers and spectrophotometers for absorbance and fluorescence measurements.
• Conduct gel electrophoresis and nucleic acid analysis for quality and integrity assessment.
• Use centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, and other laboratory instruments safely and effectively.
• Design experiments, optimize assays, and troubleshoot technical challenges in the laboratory.
• Analyze data thoroughly and interpret results to support research conclusions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical and scientific reports, including manuscripts for publication.
• Lead research projects, maintain detailed documentation, and mentor junior researchers to foster team growth.
