Overview
A leading investment management company is looking for a Senior Client Onboarding Specialist to join their expanding team in Dublin. This position requires close collaboration with clients and internal departments to streamline the fund closing procedures. The role involves a four-day office attendance per week and offers a contract with promising potential.
Core Duties
- Examine subscription and Know Your Customer (KYC) documents, liaising with clients to ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate while maintaining a positive client interaction.
- Manage and coordinate the client closing processes for a range of fund strategies including both Evergreen and commingled funds by partnering with multiple departments such as investments, sales, marketing, compliance, legal, tax, accounting, and customized solutions teams.
- Collaborate with fellow Client Onboarding team members to adhere to predetermined schedules and address various stakeholder priorities efficiently.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal teams and external partners to stay updated on all activities by clarifying statuses, setting expectations, assessing risks, and ensuring engagement amidst scheduling changes.
- Supervise Fund Administrators to guarantee effective teamwork during all client onboarding stages.
- Identify improvement opportunities to elevate client service quality and enhance efficiency and consistency across procedures and exceptional cases.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Bring over seven years of experience within financial services, favoring private equity and wealth management sectors.
- Have prior exposure to client service roles with the ability to proactively discern servicing requirements.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to juggle multiple demanding priorities and consistently deliver results.
- Skilled in CRM systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and various workflow or project management software.
- Experience handling closed-ended funds and regulatory funds governed by 34 and 40 Acts.
- Exhibit a client-focused approach with a dedication to continuously improving the client experience.
- Background in asset management or financial services, specifically servicing private wealth clients and intermediary distributors including direct involvement in client operations and services.
