SAP BODS Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP BODS Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in SAP data migration and development projects, specifically within SAP BRIM and FICA domains. Immediate joiners or those with up to 15 days' notice period are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP data migration and development activities, leveraging 3-7 years of hands-on experience.
• Develop SAP BODS ETL workflows, data mappings, transformation logic, and EMIGALL migration objects effectively.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and reports to support data reconciliation.
• Apply strong knowledge of SAP BRIM data architectures, FICA migration methodologies, and enterprise ETL concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by translating business requirements into technical solutions for migration projects.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP BODS development and EMIGALL migration, with more than 3 years on BODS and 2+ years on EMIGALL.
• Demonstrated skills in SAP S/4HANA integration, database technologies, APIs, and middleware tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proven capability in handling complex data migration with compliance to quality and reconciliation standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high attention to detail in data quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience using SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP HANA, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with cloud-based SAP platforms and industries such as utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription services.
• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation projects supporting Agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Previous experience working in consulting or contractor roles within enterprise SAP ecosystems.

Certifications

• Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Application Associate in Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, SAP Certified Development Associate for Data Services, SAP HANA Technology Associate, and SAP S/4HANA certifications.
• Additional certifications in data integration or ETL are also advantageous.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
