Role Overview and Responsibilities

The SAP ABAP Consultant role involves extensive development and maintenance of business systems using the SAP ABAP module. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SAP ABAP and proven experience in lifecycle implementation projects.

• Demonstrate proficient knowledge in SAP ABAP module functionalities.
• Develop interfaces and handle file processing using technologies including RFC, IDOC, Proxy, OData, API, and Webservices.
• Create and maintain Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, complex reports, workflows, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework components, Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF, and WebDynpro applications.
• Analyze business needs, assess existing systems, design effective solutions, and translate these into detailed programming specifications.
• Execute development tasks by converting detailed designs into optimized, accurate code.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, clarifying ambiguous requirements and resolving issues efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve problems swiftly, collaborating across teams and technical specializations beyond primary areas of expertise.
