Work Schedule

• Night shifts available, specifically 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6am
• Schedules vary according to candidate preferences and plant needs
• Example schedule includes 2-2-3 rotation: two days working, two days off, three days working, two days off, two days working, then three days off; averaging 3 to 4 workdays per week

Application and Hiring Process

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize plant areas, including both common spaces and processing rooms, using methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Maintain and stock supply rooms as necessary
• Properly fill cleaning chemical dispensers
• Operate cleaning equipment such as hand jacks, manlifts, booms, floor scrubbers, and KaiVac machines
• Perform deep facility cleaning following 3rd party audit requirements under guidance from the Sanitation Manager
• Comprehend and apply 5S workplace organization principles
• Accurately document all cleaning activities performed
• Thoroughly clean components in processing areas, including but not limited to computer stations, control panels, extruder motors and gearboxes, electrical cabinets and wiring, containers and carts, ladders, fan filters and vents, walls, floor mats, sinks, mixer platforms, die storage rooms, pump stations, and scales

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years at the time of hire
• Possession of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
• At least one month of related experience or training
• Ability to understand and follow simple instructions
• Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers and decimals

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Good physical condition to perform assigned tasks within a manufacturing environment
• Capable of standing, walking, manual dexterity, reaching, talking, and hearing
• Regularly required to stand and walk and lift or move up to 25 pounds; occasional lifts or moves up to 50 pounds with annual lift test compliance
• Use of protective safety equipment such as safety glasses, side shields, hearing protection, hair and beard nets may be necessary
