Role Overview
Aventra Global is hiring a Sales Development Representative to support its remote sales operation. This position is based in Kenya and is fully work-from-home. The role follows an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST schedule from Monday to Friday.
The company is a BPO and remote staffing business that helps organizations scale with dependable distributed teams across Africa. Its service areas include customer support, sales, virtual assistance, technical support, back-office support, data handling, and administrative services. Compensation and Training
The selected candidate will receive a base compensation of 850 USD per month along with performance-based bonuses. The role also includes two weeks of paid training.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting through phone outreach, email sequences, and LinkedIn-based contact efforts.
- Reach out to and engage the right decision-makers at target companies.
- Use multiple channels to start conversations and create interest in the offering.
- Evaluate prospects using Ideal Customer Profile criteria.
- Review budget fit, need level, and decision-making authority during qualification.
- Pass only well-qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline.
- Arrange meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
- Complete pre-call research and prepare briefing notes for sales discussions.
- Work closely with Account Executives to improve pipeline and support revenue growth.
- Keep CRM records accurate and updated for all prospect activity.
- Monitor activity metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Share outreach results and conversion performance through regular reporting.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach methods.
- Contribute actively in team meetings and support a high-performance culture.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in sales development, outbound sales, or call center work, with evidence of hitting targets.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, or similar platforms.
- Strong spoken and written English at C1 level or above.
- A clear, neutral accent suited to international client communication.
- Solid persuasion, communication, and objection-handling skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- A laptop running Windows 10 or later, plus dependable internet access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related area is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience dealing with international markets and cross-cultural clients.
- Ability to use sales tools, email, phone, and video conferencing platforms with ease.
- Capacity to write persuasive emails and deliver confident verbal pitches.
- Exposure to education technology, professional development, or B2B sales is an advantage.
- Native-level or near-native English ability, ideally C1 to C2.
