Job Overview

The Arlington Hotel is seeking a dedicated full-time Sales Administrator to join their team, located at 23-25 Bachelors Walk, Dublin 1. This role combines front-of-house customer interaction with key administrative responsibilities, focusing on promoting and managing sales for Celtic Nights tickets. The position demands confidence, organisational skills, excellent communication, and a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming visitors either in person or via telephone and directing inquiries appropriately.
Actively promote and sell Celtic Nights tickets to individuals, groups, and partner organisations.
Handle administrative duties for Celtic Nights bookings including invoicing, reporting, and general administration for various types of bookings.
Ensure timely and professional responses to all phone and email inquiries related to the show and ground floor operations.
Prepare comprehensive function sheets for large events, communicating all customer details such as upsells and special requests to the Operations team.
Collaborate closely with Sales Executive, Show Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager to maintain smooth cross-department communication.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Adhere strictly to company policies including Health & Safety, Security, Hygiene, Fire Procedures, Licensing Laws, and Cash Handling protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Opera Cloud system is advantageous but not mandatory.
Availability to work weekends is required.
Legal entitlement to work full-time in Ireland is mandatory.
