Role Overview
Join UniFirst Canada as a Route Service Representative (RSR) in Saskatoon, where you will serve as the essential liaison between the company and its customers. This position involves managing deliveries and pickups, establishing strong customer relationships, and representing UniFirst's commitment to dependable service and professionalism. The role requires autonomy, customer engagement, and a dedication to route growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain an assigned daily delivery and pickup route, acting as the main customer contact.
- Support daily operational tasks such as loading and unloading trucks to ensure efficiency.
- Provide timely, accurate delivery service and product returns with high customer satisfaction standards.
- Develop customer relationships by addressing service needs and promoting new products and garment options.
- Drive route sales by identifying upselling opportunities to increase revenue and customer value.
- Operate a company walk-in truck safely and professionally along set routes.
- Work actively in environments requiring physical activity, indoors and outdoors, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Resolve service challenges, manage inventory, and comply with safety requirements.
- Maintain consistent working hours from Monday to Friday with no weekend or night shifts, servicing a fixed customer base.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and meet local transportation regulations.
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or CAEC certification.
- Strong independent work ethic combined with excellent customer service and team collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery roles is advantageous.
- Comfortable with technology to support operational tasks and enhance customer service.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
