Room Attendant

Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and meticulous Room Attendant dedicated to maintaining cleanliness while ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for guests or residents. The successful candidate will adhere to established cleaning protocols and provide outstanding service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Prepare beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of furniture and fixtures.
• Identify and report any maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain cleaning supply inventory.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in compliance with company guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests from guests or residents.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect guests’ privacy at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and proficient time management skills.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting/carrying up to 20 kg during shifts.
• Basic English communication skills are required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
