Position Overview
We are seeking a Reticulation Networks Operator based in South Taranaki responsible for the operation and upkeep of water, wastewater, and stormwater reticulation systems. This role emphasizes maintaining service excellence in line with Veolia's commitments to ongoing enhancement, innovation, and customer satisfaction while adhering to health and safety standards and meeting defined performance metrics. Previous experience in the water industry is advantageous, although comprehensive training is provided.

Primary Responsibilities
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on water, wastewater, and stormwater networks
- Serving as a point of contact for customer service requests, responding promptly and coordinating necessary remedial actions
- Comprehensively logging all reports and tasks, including required documentation and record management
- Supporting the planning and rollout of Capital Works improvement initiatives
- Providing operational assistance to the Networks Supervisor and team during reticulation repairs, major repairs, and pipeline replacements
- Encouraging positive collaboration among district operation teams, including field, engineering, management personnel, clients, customers, and suppliers
- Performing other duties essential for reliable service delivery to clients and customers
Qualifications and Skills Required

- Willingness and availability for out-of-hours work and participation in on-call rotation

- Possession of a current full driver's license, preferably Class 2
- Optional endorsements: Wheels, Tracks & Rollers; Traffic Management; Working at Heights; Confined Space (preferred but not mandatory)
