Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position in Lower Hutt calls for a Residential HVAC and Electrical Sales professional. The role entails engaging with homeowners to identify their heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and electrical requirements, and recommending suitable solutions including heat pumps. Daily responsibilities consist of managing incoming inquiries, conducting property assessments, preparing sales quotations, and diligently pursuing leads to close sales. The role demands collaboration with installation teams to ensure seamless project handovers and outstanding customer satisfaction. Accurate record maintenance within sales platforms and contributing toward achieving sales goals are essential components of this position, alongside embodying Fantail’s dedication to quality service in all customer interactions.
Qualification Criteria
- Proven experience or a strong enthusiasm for residential sales roles
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying technical information for clients
- A customer-centric mindset with a cooperative and solution-driven approach
- Competent sales abilities including lead management, negotiation, and ethical closing techniques
- Good understanding of residential HVAC and electrical systems
- Ability to operate on-site in Lower Hutt, conducting face-to-face visits and meetings with customers
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with digital tools for scheduling, quoting, and record keeping
- Holding a full, clean driver’s license and authorized to work in New Zealand
- Prior practical experience in HVAC and/or electrical installations
