About the Role

Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. Responsibilities include move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties to meet readiness standards for photos, showings, and inspections.

The organization manages residential rentals, supporting property owners, tenants, and internal teams through leasing, maintenance coordination, and ongoing property management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend various residential rental properties for scheduled cleaning appointments.
• Perform residential cleaning consistent with company quality standards, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items where necessary.
• Clean and wipe down surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-contact areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors thoroughly.
• Clean interior appliances when needed (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer).
• Identify sections requiring additional cleaning, junk removal, maintenance, or repairs.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos demonstrating cleaning outcomes.
• Provide detailed updates including notes, photos, and videos after each visit.
• Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, and internal staff.
• Adhere strictly to cleaning checklists, access instructions, and appointment details.

General Cleaning Tasks May Include

• Move-in and move-out cleaning

• Deep cleaning tasks
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
• Appliance, floor, dusting, surface, cabinet, drawer, window sill, and baseboard cleaning
• Garbage removal and light debris cleanup
• Ensuring property readiness prior to photos, showings, inspections, or move-in

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, or in a similar cleaning role.
• Solid understanding of residential cleaning standards.
• Reliable transportation to attend appointments independently.
• Possession of necessary cleaning equipment and supplies for every appointment.
• Ownership of an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera.
• Confidence in taking clear photos and videos of properties and completed work.
• Ability to document work and submit clear notes following each visit.
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and detail-focused attitude.
• Ability to follow detailed checklists, instructions, and property access protocols.
• Respectful communication skills with property owners, tenants, prospective clients, and team members.

Desired Attributes

• Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleans.
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties for photos, showings, inspections, or move-in.
• Skill at detecting damage, maintenance requirements, junk removal, pest issues, access problems, or unsafe conditions.
