Job Overview
The Replenishment Driver, also known as the Customer Support Coordinator, is responsible for delivering and restocking products in vending machines and solutions across assigned markets following a weekly schedule. This role also ensures vending units are functional and well-maintained by conducting routine maintenance and repairs on DGI's Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions. Acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and customer service, the driver strives to exceed customer expectations. The position offers growth opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to multiple customer sites to replenish inventory and perform vending equipment repairs, responding promptly to any operational issues.
- Prepare and organize the delivery van with necessary stock for replenishment tasks.
- Safely load and unload products onto company vehicles.
- Keep the vehicle clean and orderly by the end of each workday, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
- Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and collaborate with the inventory team to correct any inconsistencies.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams about assigned vending accounts and any emerging problems.
- Provide after-hours support for equipment downtime occasionally (under 5% of the time).
- Perform weekly stock refreshes for all designated accounts.
- Assist technical support in fixing malfunctioning systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment at each customer location weekly.
- Address customer requests during site visits effectively.
- Review monitoring reports and act accordingly (e.g., expedite reports, cycle counting, ScaleMate errors).
- Update machine databases as needed, including adding new employees or updating pictures and descriptions.
- Support helpdesk operations when required.
- Maintain sanitation standards for vending equipment and vehicles to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Follow all safety policies and guidelines of both the company and customer locations, including wearing steel-toed shoes and adhering to the dress code.
- Provide occasional warehouse assistance as requested by management.
- Comply with the DoALL Fleet Vehicle Policy.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Required Skills and Experience
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with preference given to candidates experienced in basic mechanical repairs.
- Strong integrity and a solid work ethic.
- Passionate, flexible, customer-oriented, and team-focused.
- High urgency and accountability in task execution.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in customer relations and excellent time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Preferred knowledge of computers and networking basics.
- Related experience in areas such as AutoCrib, VMI, and inventory management is advantageous.
