Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Remote Veterinary Customer Support Specialist to become part of our Virtual Care team. This full-time position involves delivering exceptional assistance to pet parents and veterinary staff through phone, text, and email, all while working remotely from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to pet parents via multiple communication channels including phone, text, and email.
- Support with appointment bookings, offer basic pet care guidance, and answer general inquiries.
- Direct medical-related questions to our licensed TeleAdvice veterinary professionals.
- Work closely with veterinary clinics and internal operations teams to create a smooth customer experience.
- Embody Petfolk’s core values by delivering empathetic and professional communications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in veterinary customer care.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet, quiet and dedicated home workspace, and proficiency with technology.
- Availability for a full-time schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts weekly, including all weekends.
- Able to work during hours from 8 AM to 9 PM Eastern Standard Time.
- Current residence in one of the following states: NY, VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, TX, OK, KS, AZ, UT, NV, LA, MO, IL, TN, OH, or PA.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Vetspire or Gladly CRM platforms.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Slack, and Google Suite.

- Hourly wage of $17.
- Four-day workweek with ten-hour shifts.
