Relationship Manager - Business Banking

Overview

The position of Relationship Manager in Business Banking involves delivering tailored financial solutions to meet the operational needs of business clients, while ensuring exceptional relationship management and customer satisfaction to establish the bank as the preferred partner. This role focuses on acquiring new asset customers along with liabilities and forex portfolio growth, coordinating closely with product and operations teams to enhance client acquisition, service quality, and portfolio expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new business banking customers with a thorough understanding of credit evaluation processes.
• Possess knowledge of liability products, foreign exchange, trade finance, client relationship dynamics, delinquency control, and demonstrate analytical capabilities.
• Efficiently manage the existing client portfolio by monitoring accounts, facilitating renewals, promoting enhancements, securing retention, and maintaining portfolio quality by minimizing deferrals and covenant breaches.
• Build strong collaborative ties with branch banking units for maximizing synergies and cross-selling opportunities, engaging effectively with various bank stakeholders.
• Analyze competitive landscape and gather feedback from channels and clients to formulate growth strategies.
• Propose process improvements aimed at enhancing service efficiency and quality throughout the branch network.
• Exhibit skills in sales planning along with conceptualizing promotional and marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret financial statements, perform credit assessments, and understand title and security documentation.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree in any discipline. The role requires 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in branch banking operations.
