Role Overview

Guild Garage Group is hiring a Regional Training Supervisor to lead learning and development efforts across the Central and Eastern regions. This is a fully remote position with about 25% travel. The role sits within the Training & Development department and reports to the VP of Training & Development.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support technicians, customer service representatives, leaders, and sales teams by delivering the tools and coaching they need to perform at a high level. You will work with partner garage door companies across the country to implement training programs, reinforce skill development, and strengthen operational performance. Data and reporting will also be part of the role, helping you measure impact and continuously improve learning initiatives.

Core Duties

  • Work with leadership to spot capability gaps and shape training solutions that address them.
  • Partner with owners, department heads, and team members to understand each team’s needs and create a practical development roadmap.
  • Coach individuals or small groups virtually when extra support is needed, helping them strengthen foundational skills.
  • Run weekly regional calls to share best practices and lead short, focused learning sessions.
  • Deliver training in person when travel is needed or virtually when appropriate.
  • Support field trainers and leaders so training is delivered consistently and effectively.
  • Develop content and materials that close knowledge gaps and meet business needs.
  • Track training outcomes using metrics and analytics to improve program performance.
  • Gather field feedback and present insights to senior leadership to inform decisions.
  • Coordinate closely with field operations so training stays aligned with day-to-day business needs.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Training & Development, Learning & Development, or a similar area, with a track record of helping others grow.
  • Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and experience delivering engaging, performance-oriented training.
  • Ability to influence leaders through accountability, coaching, and collaboration rather than formal authority.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a customer-service approach.
  • Excellent organization and project management ability, including managing several priorities at once.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and forming strong partnerships across teams.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, with ADP LMS considered a plus, and the ability to use reporting and data to assess effectiveness.
  • Willingness to travel around 25% to support field teams and deliver training.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Training and development certification, with CPTD or ATD preferred.
  • Background in skilled trades, field operations, or another service-based business is highly preferred, especially familiarity with technician workflows and operational challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
