About the Role

GMC Utilities Group is seeking a Recruiter to join their dynamic HR and Recruitment team in Dublin. The position involves managing recruitment operations for various open roles, focusing on identifying and sourcing top-quality candidates to support the organization's expansion. This office-based position works closely with hiring managers to fully understand hiring needs and manages the recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment processes for assigned job vacancies starting from initial discussions up to extending job offers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify recruitment demands and priorities.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing techniques including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing to find potential candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, arrange interviews, and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Maintain and nurture talent pools specifically for operational, engineering, and support positions.
  • Establish and sustain effective relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensure clear communication, timely feedback, and high-quality candidate delivery.
  • Evaluate recruitment agency performance and maintain compliance with GMC recruitment standards and policies.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience through professional and timely interactions at all recruitment stages.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment drives, and participate in careers events as required.
  • Keep accurate and updated recruitment information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist with onboarding processes to guarantee a smooth integration for new hires.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company guidelines and Irish employment laws.

Candidate Profile

  • At least one year of recruitment experience within the Irish construction, civil engineering, or utilities sectors.
  • Prior experience within recruitment agencies, preferably with a focus on construction or civil engineering roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Irish construction recruitment landscape.
  • Proficiency in managing end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple concurrent vacancies.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing passive candidates and creating strong talent pools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Familiar with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems, with preference for Bullhorn.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strong IT competencies including proficiency in ATS tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • A full driving license is considered an advantage.
