Overview
We seek a polished and approachable Receptionist to serve as the initial contact for visitors and callers. This role includes welcoming guests, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and offering administrative support to ensure all visitors and clients have a seamless and pleasant experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally to create a positive first impression.
- Attend to incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and transferring calls appropriately.
- Maintain the reception area including cleanliness and organization.
- Organize appointment schedules and keep track of meeting calendars.
- Sort and distribute mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges when necessary.
- Address basic customer questions and refer them to the relevant departments.
- Manage office supplies and liaise with vendors for procurement.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and maintaining documents.
- Support other teams with miscellaneous office tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
- Preferably between 1 to 2 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Customer service oriented with strong telephone etiquette.
- Time management skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Problem-solving aptitude and basic administrative competencies.
