About CLS and the Role

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS), the highest accredited contract laboratory in Ireland since 1994, is expanding and invites passionate graduates to become QC Microbiology Analysts through a dedicated Career Accelerator Programme. CLS supports many industries including food, environmental, medical device, biopharmaceutical, and pharmaceutical sectors by offering expert sampling and analysis services either on client premises or from their own accredited labs.

This full-time, permanent position begins with comprehensive training in microbiology and analytical chemistry at CLS's accredited Galway laboratory, followed by placements at various client sites around Ireland. Candidates must be flexible and may have to relocate depending on client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage fully in CLS's structured Career Accelerator Programme.
• Conduct QC testing employing microbiology and analytical chemistry techniques.
• Manage and report data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and laboratory safety protocols.
• Maintain precise records and uphold high standards in laboratory operations.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks including equipment calibration, cleanliness maintenance, and glassware handling.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and demonstrate independent working capabilities.

Career Accelerator Programme Details

The programme consists of three phases:

• Phase 1 - Launch: Intensive training at CLS's GMP and INAB accredited labs covering compliance and microbiology technical skills such as water testing (USP & EP), environmental monitoring, microbial limit testing, and filtration testing, complemented by transversal skills including professional behavior, time management, problem-solving, communication, technical writing, and interview preparation.
• Phase 2 - Accelerate: Application of learned skills at client sites in regulated pharmaceutical and medical device environments across Ireland, requiring location flexibility to support project demands.
• Phase 3 - Mastery: Opportunity to specialize in career pathways like Technical Specialist, Leadership, Quality Assurance, Lean methodologies, or Training.
