About the Company and Role

Mona Generators Pvt. Ltd., located in Niman Vihar, Delhi, is seeking a dedicated Purchase & Procurement Executive to join their Purchase & Procurement department. This full-time role demands experience ranging from one to four years. The role encompasses handling purchasing operations, communicating with vendors, managing procurement of materials, negotiating costs, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring materials needed for manufacturing and operations are timely available.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate dependable vendors and suppliers for the materials required.
• Liaise with vendors concerning pricing, quality, availability, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
• Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) and purchase requisitions accurately.
• Solicit quotations from multiple sources and conduct price analyses.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to optimize price, quality, and payment arrangements.
• Follow up with suppliers to guarantee timely receipt of materials.
• Collaborate with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Sales teams to determine material needs.
• Keep meticulous records of orders, quotations, bills, and vendor information.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement based on stock status.
• Foster strong relationships with new and current vendors.
• Verify incoming materials against orders and coordinate with stores/quality teams for any inconsistencies.
• Resolve vendor-related issues such as shortages, quality concerns, delays, replacements, and returns.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement documentation.
• Participate in efforts to uncover cost-saving possibilities and enhance procurement methods.
• Ensure all purchases conform to company policies and approval processes.
• Prepare and deliver regular purchase and procurement reports to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent negotiation skills with effective vendor management.
• Strong communication and diligent follow-up capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of purchase and procurement workflows.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and material control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and general MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP or purchase management software is a plus.
• Ability to compare quotes and analyze pricing effectively.
• High attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Capable of managing deadlines and juggling multiple demands at once.

Educational Requirements

• Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, particularly beneficial for those with experience in manufacturing, generators, automotive, electrical, or engineering sectors.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates who have backgrounds in manufacturing, automobile, DG set generators, electrical equipment, engineering, or industrial product sectors are favored.
