About the Role
Join ABB in the Electrification business, Distribution Solutions division, based in Nashik, India, where you will support industrial efficiency and sustainability. As a Project Specialist, reporting to the Project Manager, you will act as a design authority for engineering disciplines with moderate complexity. You will manage small projects or parts of larger projects, emphasizing cost-effective completion and applying fundamental design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, choose, and implement standard engineering methods and procedures.
- Deliver technical assistance during testing, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Support the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Use checklists to verify design compliance with relevant standards and engineering practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full-time degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Between 3 to 5 years' experience in project management, order handling, and coordinating projects.
- Strong familiarity with technical specifications, schematic interpretation, and tracking issues.
- Hands-on experience with switchgear, power systems, and SCADA technologies.
- Competent in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Exposure to site operations and international projects, preferable within SARC or Middle Eastern markets.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
