About the Role

Velosio is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its PMO Team. This role involves directing software implementation, development, and upgrade projects by establishing and overseeing project plans, managing risks, resources, and timelines, regularly updating clients, and ensuring compliance with project management standards.

Key Responsibilities

Hold ultimate accountability for project success and overall management.
Develop and manage project plans aligned with Solutions Architect specifications.
Assign tasks appropriately to consultants based on their experience levels.
Gather internal progress updates from project team members.
Ensure team adherence to established processes and standards.
Track task progress against project timelines and communicate issues to senior management.
Prepare and present project status reports to clients.
Collaborate closely with clients and consulting teams to ensure delivery of agreed services.
Deliver comprehensive Project Plan and Scope documents for each assignment.
Manage allocations of resources and task assignments within projects.
Notify Practice Directors promptly regarding resource needs.
Maintain timely communications and feedback with clients.
Complete required training and orientation to enhance organizational knowledge.
Follow all physical and logical security protocols and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in computer science, business, accounting, or related fields.
Strong language skills to interpret financial reports, accounting documents, and generate routine correspondence and presentations effectively.
Mathematical skills to calculate project-related metrics such as variances and burn rates using calculators or computers.
Strong reasoning skills to analyze complex business problems, interpret various instructions, and develop practical solutions including business process diagrams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools, and effective use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Possession of a valid driver's license; PMP certification or progress toward it is advantageous.
Experience of over 3 years in project management roles related to technical solution implementations, or over 2 years specifically within ERP, accounting, or CRM system deployments.
Familiarity with Microsoft tools and technologies.
Understanding of ERP and CRM system functionalities and value delivery.
Capability to plan Go-live cutover schedules and post-implementation support.
