Role Overview

The Project Manager will take full responsibility for successful delivery and implementation of customized automated equipment projects, acting as the customer's internal representative and coordinating interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Take ownership of all project phases from initiation through to customer support post-installation.
• Ensure customer User Requirement Specifications meet satisfaction standards.
• Deliver comprehensive documentation including quality, safety, and end-user manuals.
• Drive project schedules to complete within contracted deadlines.
• Manage budgets ensuring milestones are met within resource limits.
• Collaborate with management to address resource and planning conflicts.
• Control internal and external project scope and change requests.
• Facilitate clear technical and commercial communication among stakeholders.
• Maintain transparency of project statuses through continuous updates to customers and internal managers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, Controls, Debug, Workshop) to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Develop and oversee schedules for delivery phases and resolve issues promptly.
• Establish and steer project roadmaps toward completion.
• Provide problem-solving support to teams to ensure swift resolution of technical obstacles.
• Understand ongoing functional and technical project challenges systematically.
• Use standardized project management tools to prioritize and resolve issues based on resources and goals.
• Escalate problems as necessary to preserve deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management or related discipline.
• Relevant prior experience in a similar project management role.
• Proven ability to take ownership and consistently deliver commitments.
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail within an engineering context.
• Strong problem-solving skills handling complex engineering projects.
• Demonstrated innovative mindset and initiative-taking capability.
