Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Director to spearhead large-scale EPC, Design-Build, and Construction Management ventures within the advanced technology sectors. This full-time role involves end-to-end oversight of project delivery, spanning proposal, preconstruction phases, through to commissioning and turnover. The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and meet rigorous quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the comprehensive execution of EPC, Design-Build, and Construction Management projects from initial proposals to final handover.
Take full ownership of all project facets, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, safety adherence, risk assessment, and financial outcomes.
Manage project profitability by controlling costs, forecasting budgets, handling change orders, managing cash flow, and mitigating risks effectively.
Lead technical aspects throughout proposal creation, project planning, and implementation phases.
Analyze project designs, drawings, specifications, and constructability to pinpoint opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Act as the primary liaison with clients to foster strong partnerships and ensure successful project completion.
Coordinate seamlessly with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project control teams across all project stages.
Guide multidisciplinary project teams with mentorship and performance oversight.
Oversee coordination with consultants and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project demands and organizational standards.
Promote a culture emphasizing safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvements.
Ensure strict compliance with all processes, contract terms, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred.
Mandatory OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 certification is advantageous.
Extensive experience of 10–15+ years in engineering and construction roles within EPC or General Contracting environments.
At least 5 years of senior project, construction, or design management experience.
Demonstrated leadership of the full lifecycle of billion-dollar advanced industrial or technology projects, from preconstruction to turnover.
Proven delivery experience in industries such as Data Centers, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical/Life Sciences, or Advanced Manufacturing.
Strong commercial management skills, including budget ownership, forecasting, cost control, change order and risk management, along with P&L accountability.
Background working with EPC contractors or General Contractors.
Deep familiarity with construction drawings, design coordination, and constructability reviews.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, and client management capabilities.
Ability to lead extensive multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a track record of delivering major projects for EPC firms or General Contractors catering to hyperscale data centers, semiconductor fabrication plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech facilities, or other advanced technology endeavors will be highly regarded.
