Role Overview

The Program Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within the project delivery function, overseeing complex programs and ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and methodologies. This role involves managing multiple Project Managers across workstreams and collaborating closely with HDT and Business Leads to drive successful program implementation, managing risks, budgets, scope, timelines, and organizational change efforts. Clear and effective communication is essential, including delivering updates to senior leadership such as the CEO and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project delivery standards, organizational change management, budget, and scope controls when formal methodologies are not defined.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and applicable methodologies.

  • Coordinate the program operations leadership team to integrate business, technology, and governance pillars effectively.

  • Collaborate with the Test Lead to establish a thorough testing plan covering all workstreams.
  • Address complex problems by considering resources, capacity, and constraints to devise effective solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with senior leadership, SMEs, technical staff, project managers, developers, and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years managing enterprise technology platforms, software development, and business application implementation projects.
  • PMP or PgMP certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience managing large-scale ERP or equivalent implementations.
  • Technology project management experience within healthcare settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar tools for managing complex project plans.
