Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Produce Stocker offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail sector. The Produce Stocker is responsible for maintaining and organizing the produce section, helping with inventory stocking, and supporting product sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing and zoning the produce department effectively.
• Rotating stock to manage freshness and inspecting products for expiration.
• Ensuring all produce is accurately signed and priced.
• Following established protocols for cold chain management including thermometer calibration and temperature monitoring.
• Adhering strictly to food safety standards, proper food handling, and sanitation routines.
• Managing ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, labeling, and signage.
• Keeping the department fully stocked and prepared for daily business operations.
• Complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Handling merchandise stocking, downstocking when needed, implementing product protection measures, and completing modular setups including flexible and new shelf configurations.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $18.05 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
