• Ensure all produce items are accurately priced and labeled, adhering to ordering, clearance, markup, markdown, and signage procedures.
• Comply with food safety protocols, including sanitation, cold chain procedures, using thermometers, and managing sell-by and expiration dates correctly.
• Stock and downstock merchandise as required, implement product protection measures when necessary, and arrange displays such as modulars and shelf caps to keep the department fully stocked.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being open to working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and customer service.

Challenges

• Manage workloads effectively during overnight shifts by maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment, completing large volumes of restocking and recovery accurately and timely.
• Handle physical demands including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies up to 50 lbs., performing repetitive stocking and zoning tasks with consistency and attention to detail.

Compensation

The minimum hourly rate starts at $18.05 CAD.
