About PriView
PriView is developing an advanced portfolio intelligence platform tailored for investors engaged in private funds. It serves Limited Partners such as family offices, asset managers, pension funds, foundations, and endowments who typically receive complex and fragmented reports related to their private equity, venture capital, and other private market investments. Leveraging AI technology, PriView organizes, structures, and enriches this data, enabling investment teams to have clearer and timelier insights into their portfolios. The platform facilitates performance analysis, exposure awareness, portfolio monitoring, and better-informed investment decisions.
Based in London and supported by experienced technology and investment founders, including notable figures like Justin Kan (co-founder of Twitch), PriView aims to be the leading AI-powered operating system for private market investors.
Role Overview
We are seeking a capable and driven Private Markets Operations Associate to join our team. This multifaceted role bridges private markets, financial data, customer operations, and product development. Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, transforming complex fund reports into consistent portfolio data, addressing data-quality and financial discrepancies, testing new product features, and refining operational processes as the company expands. Collaboration across founders, technical teams, operations members, and institutional clients is key. This role offers significant responsibility and a broad view of the business in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding new clients by collecting data, coordinating reporting access, and managing workflows.
- Review, validate, and enrich data from capital account statements, quarterly reports, and other private fund documents, applying financial judgment especially when information is partial or irregular.
- Reconcile data related to funds, transactions, performance, and portfolio companies across varying reporting periods and sources.
- Engage directly with clients to clarify data, address inquiries, and ensure PriView’s platform accurately represents their portfolios.
- Perform analyses on private companies, funds, and portfolios to reveal insights, validate key assumptions, and understand performance drivers and exposures.
- Test new product features and data pipelines, report bugs, collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot, and enhance onboarding and documentation processes.
- Contribute to customer reporting, product development initiatives, and other strategic or operational projects supporting company growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has approximately one to four years of relevant experience but emphasis is placed on capability, judgment, and attitude rather than exact career history. Backgrounds in private markets operations, fund administration, audit, transaction services, consulting, asset management, portfolio monitoring, investor relations, or financial data/fintech sectors are relevant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with intellectual curiosity about financial and company data.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and the capacity to interpret financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Keen interest in private equity, venture capital, and structuring and reporting of private investment portfolios.
- Proficiency in Excel, comfortable working with large, imperfect, or inconsistently formatted datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of confidently interacting with sophisticated institutional investors.
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, early-stage business environment.
Why Join PriView?
- Be part of a growing fintech company addressing an underserved challenge for private market investors.
- Work directly alongside the company founders and assume meaningful responsibility from the start.
- Gain exposure to prominent family offices, asset managers, pension funds, foundations, and other institutional investors.
- Develop expertise spanning private markets, financial analysis, artificial intelligence, product development, and customer operations.
- Contribute to shaping PriView’s product, business operations, and company culture as we scale.
