Principal Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Manager to serve as the product owner for the government's job portal. This role involves driving the product strategy, managing a roadmap, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle while collaborating across various teams and vendors using Agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product ownership of the national job portal, ensuring Agile development principles are applied effectively.
• Plan and manage the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors from initial concept ideation to rapid prototyping.
• Translate complex propositions into actionable requirements for diverse cross-functional delivery teams.
• Design and implement methods for quick product validation through quantitative techniques such as A/B testing and qualitative user testing.
• Utilize data analytics and user feedback to continuously optimize the product.
• Enhance the customer experience for platform features in coordination with third-party solution providers, marketing, and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct competitive analyses by researching emerging technologies, services, competitors, and new market entrants.

Role Requirements

• Possess tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Strong communication skills with aptitude for collaborating closely with product owners and engineering teams.
• Proficient understanding of data platforms with comfort in discussing technical specifications.
• Experienced in data analytics, business intelligence, and agile product management.
