Police Constable - Experienced

Role Overview

Kawartha Lakes Police Service is inviting applications for an experienced Police Constable. This role offers the chance to build a long-term career in policing, with room to grow into different responsibilities through further training and service across the organization.

Compensation

The salary for this position is in the range of 92,228 to 121,353.

Application Requirements

Applicants must meet the requirements for the Police Constable role as set out under the Police Services Act.

Submission packages should include the following:

• An up-to-date resume
• A cover letter that includes daytime and evening contact numbers
• A current Basic Rescuer (Level C) CPR certificate
• A current Standard First Aid certificate
• A completed Kawartha Lakes Police Service application form
• A copy of the OPC diploma and/or proof of graduation from another police training institution

Selection Process

Only candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted. The selected applicant will need to successfully complete a medical exam, a psychological assessment, and a background investigation.
